Quicksilver 864929A 4 3-Inch Dry Joint Exhaust Riser Spacer Kit FWC MerCruiser V6 V8

The Quicksilver 864929A 4 is an OEM 3-inch (76 mm) dry joint exhaust riser spacer kit designed exclusively for fresh water cooled (FWC) MerCruiser stern drive and inboard engines. This kit raises the exhaust riser height to help prevent water back-flow into the engine — a critical function in marine exhaust system maintenance.

Designed specifically for use with 14-degree dry joint exhaust systems, this kit is compatible with V6 and V8 MerCruiser engine applications equipped with 14-degree risers and closed cooling (fresh water cooled) configurations. It is not compatible with standard wet-joint or open cooling systems.

Kit Includes:

• 3-inch (76 mm) exhaust riser spacer blocks
• Block-off gaskets
• Mounting hardware

Key Features:

• OEM Quicksilver/Mercury Marine part — direct factory replacement
• 3-inch (76 mm) spacer height raises riser above water level to prevent back-flow
• Compatible with 14-degree dry joint exhaust manifold systems
• Designed for fresh water cooled (FWC / closed cooling) engines only
• Includes all necessary gaskets and hardware for installation
• Backed by Mercury Marine's 1-year factory warranty against defects and workmanship

Replacing worn or corroded exhaust riser spacers is an essential part of routine marine exhaust maintenance. Annual inspection and periodic replacement helps protect the engine from water intrusion and costly internal damage.
