The Quicksilver 8M0030551 is a genuine OEM single-engine panel mount remote control designed for MerCruiser sterndrive and Mercury/Mariner 3.4L outboard applications with external trim cylinders. Built to Mercury Marine's original equipment manufacturer specifications, this chrome-finish control delivers smooth, reliable throttle and shift performance from a clean, concealed panel mount installation.

Panel Mount Design: The panel mount configuration exposes only the throttle and shift lever above the boat's side wall, with the cable mechanism and hardware neatly hidden behind the panel for a clean, professional appearance. The lanyard stop switch is integrated into the mounted bezel for easy access and a streamlined look.

After seeing that Autoplicity was in good standing with the BBB and had favourable reviews reported elsewhere I placed an order on a Sunday evening. On Monday morning I already had a confirmation email and order number. On Tuesday I was notified that my order had shipped. Their price of $477 on the part I ordered was about $30 cheaper than Summit Racing, who I usually do business with, and the cost of shipping and handling was only a few dollars more. I haven't recieved the part yet but have no reason to think I won't be totally satisfied with the transaction.
