Panther 35SS630 Safe-Skeg Protector 316 Stainless Steel for Evinrude/Johnson 2-Stroke Outboards

The Panther Safe-Skeg (35SS630) is a brilliantly polished stainless steel skeg guard designed to protect, repair, or restore your outboard motor's skeg. Whether your skeg is brand new and you want to keep it that way, or it has sustained damage that needs covering, the Safe-Skeg slips over the existing skeg for a seamless, professional finish that installs in minutes.

Key Features:

• 316 Marine-Grade Stainless Steel — Corrosion-resistant alloy built to withstand harsh saltwater and freshwater environments
• 1.5mm Material Thickness — Heavy-gauge construction, 50% thicker than competing skeg protectors, eliminating the need for an additional skid plate
• Brilliantly Polished Seamless Design — Conforms closely to the skeg profile without adding unnecessary bulk or weight
• Integrated Drain Hole — Prevents moisture buildup, protecting against corrosion and freeze damage in cold-weather storage
• Quick Installation — Allen-head fasteners and included hardware make for a straightforward, tool-minimal install
• Complete Kit Included — Comes with the Safe-Skeg guard, mounting hardware, instructions, allen wrench, and Loctite 262 thread-locking compound

The Panther 35SS630 Safe-Skeg is a cost-effective alternative to replacing an entire lower unit skeg, providing long-lasting protection for Evinrude and Johnson 2-stroke outboards, select OMC Cobra inboard/outboard drives, and Suzuki outboards.
