Racor R45S Replacement Filter Element Micron - 2

The Racor R45S is a high-efficiency replacement filter element designed for secondary or final stage fuel filtration. Featuring an ultra-fine 2 micron filtration rating, this element effectively removes microscopic contaminants, water, and particulates from diesel and gasoline fuel systems, protecting sensitive fuel injection components and ensuring optimal engine performance.

Key Features:

• 2 micron filtration rating for secondary/final stage filtration (identified by brown cap)
• Compatible with Racor spin-on fuel filter assemblies
• High-quality media provides superior water separation and contaminant removal
• Protects fuel injectors, pumps, and other precision engine components
• Suitable for marine, automotive, and industrial diesel applications

Micron Rating Guide:

• 2 Micron (S-Series, Brown Cap): Secondary/Final filtration for maximum protection
• 10 Micron (T-Series, Blue Cap): Primary or secondary/final filtration
• 30 Micron (P-Series, Red Cap): Primary filtration

Always follow your engine manufacturer's recommendation for fuel filter micron rating. The lower the micron rating, the finer the filtration and greater the protection for modern high-pressure fuel injection systems.
