Rule Industries 17A 3800 GPH General Purpose Centrifugal Pump 12V DC

The Rule Industries 17A is a high-flow, low-head end-suction centrifugal pump engineered for marine applications including livewell circulation and low-pressure washdown duties. Capable of moving up to 3,800 GPH (63 GPM) at 12V DC, it delivers exceptional volume for keeping baitwell and livewell tanks oxygenated and refreshed. Built for both commercial and recreational vessels, this pump features heavy-duty, fully submersible construction with a double-insulated motor, polyacetal plastic housing, and a stainless steel shaft for long-lasting corrosion resistance.

Key Features:

• High-flow output of 3,800 GPH at a maximum head of 25 ft
• Operates on 12V DC with a maximum current draw of 15.5A
• 1-1/2" (38mm) barbed inlet and 1-1/2" (38mm) barbed outlet for easy hose connections
• Totally submersible and rust/corrosion-proof construction
• Anti-airlock and ignition-protected safety features
• Can run dry without damage to the pump
• Silent and vibration-free operation
• PTFE shaft seal for reliable, long-term performance
• Suitable for commercial and pleasure boat use

Important Installation Notes: This pump must be mounted below the waterline. It is not self-priming and does not deliver high pressure — it is designed to move large volumes of water at low pressure. Manual priming is required before initial operation.

The Rule 17A is a trusted choice for anglers and boaters who need a reliable, high-capacity pump for livewell systems or general-purpose water circulation aboard their vessel.
