The Scotty 242BK Rail Mounting Adapter provides a secure mounting solution for attaching Scotty post mount rod holders to boat railings. This versatile black adapter accommodates both 7/8-inch and 1-inch diameter round rails, as well as 1-inch square rails, making it compatible with most standard boat rail configurations.

Installation Note: When mounting to 1-inch square rail, 1/4-20 x 2-inch round head stainless steel machine screws are required (not included with adapter).

This adapter works in conjunction with the Scotty 241 Side/Deck Mount to create a complete rail mounting system, allowing you to position your rod holders exactly where you need them on your boat's rail system.
