The Seastar Solutions HF5518 is a vertical bleeder tee fitting designed for use with older-style SeaStar manual hydraulic marine steering systems. Sold as a pack of two, these fittings are an essential component for bleeding and maintaining hydraulic steering cylinders to ensure reliable, responsive helm performance on the water.

These are 3/8" compression fittings utilizing a 9/16"-24 extra fine thread, compatible with all older-style SeaStar manual hydraulic steering systems. The fittings are constructed from corrosion-resistant stainless steel, providing long-lasting durability in the harsh marine environment.

The HF5518 is the correct bleeder tee for legacy SeaStar hydraulic steering installations. If your cylinder or helm part number ends in "-3" or "-4", refer to the HF6002 ORB-style bleeder tee instead. All SeaStar manual hydraulic steering systems use the same style of compression fittings across applications, making the HF5518 a universal solution for older system maintenance and repair.
