The Seastar Solutions HP5608 is a complete gland seal kit designed specifically for BayStar HC4600 series hydraulic steering cylinders (starboard side). This factory-assembled service kit provides everything needed to rebuild and reseal the starboard end of your BayStar steering cylinder, restoring smooth, leak-free operation to your boat's hydraulic steering system.

Important Installation Note:

The BayStar HC4600 cylinder requires two seal kits for a complete rebuild—one for each end. This HP5608 kit services the starboard (right) side only. The port side requires seal kit HP5607, which is sold separately. For optimal performance and to prevent future leaks, it is recommended to replace both gland assemblies at the same time.

This seal kit is designed for the now-obsolete HC4600 and HC4600H BayStar cylinders. While these cylinders are no longer manufactured, Seastar Solutions continues to provide complete seal kit support for existing installations, allowing boat owners to maintain and extend the service life of their hydraulic steering systems.
