The SeaStar Solutions SS14717 is a complete No FeedBack (NFB) mechanical rotary steering system designed for single-station boats with non-power-assisted outboard engines. This kit includes everything needed for a complete installation or replacement: an NFB 4.2 helm (SH4910P), 90-degree bezel kit (SB27150P), 17-foot quick-connect steering cable (SSC6217), mounting hardware, and detailed installation instructions.

Applications: Ideal for most single-station boats with a single non-power-assisted outboard or sterndrive engine up to V-6 with minimal engine flutter or steering instability. The NFB mechanism significantly reduces the tiresome effect of propeller torque feedback without the expense of a full hydraulic system. Note: NFB helms should not be used with autopilots, power-assisted steering systems, or dual helm stations.

the product reviews all seem to be reviewed of autoplicity's service instead of the item being viewed. either way, the shocks ordered were the right ones w/ all the parts w/ it. autoplicity's item descriptions could be a little more clear and/or explicit
