Product Details

The Sherwood G8001 is a bronze flange-mount seawater pump designed for cooling Kohler 5-7 kW marine generators. This genuine Sherwood pump uses raw water intake from rivers or seawater to cool the engine efficiently.

Key Features:

  • Durable bronze body construction for superior corrosion resistance in marine environments
  • Includes a 12-vane through-key drive flexible neoprene impeller
  • 3/8 inch NPT inlet and discharge ports
  • High chrome nickel stainless steel slotted drive shaft
  • Self-priming design ideal for engine cooling applications
  • Features convenient drain plug and machined-in cam

This pump is designed for Kohler 5-7 kW gasoline engines and replaces Kohler pump 359341. Also replaces Sherwood pump models GP8001, GP8001-01, and G8001-01. Uses impeller kit 8000K for service and replacement.

The impeller should be replaced every 3-12 months depending on application to ensure optimal performance. When possible, flush pump with fresh water after each use to maximize longevity.
