Product Details

The Sierra 18-0388 is a power trim hose connector gasket designed for MerCruiser stern drive applications. This precision-engineered gasket creates a reliable seal at the hydraulic trim hose connection point on the transom assembly, preventing fluid leaks in the power trim and tilt system.

Key Features:

  • Direct replacement for Mercury Marine OEM part number 27-98823-1
  • Compatible with MerCruiser Alpha stern drives (1983-present) and all Bravo drive models
  • Meets or exceeds original equipment specifications for quality and performance
  • Essential maintenance component for power trim system integrity
  • Manufactured by Sierra, a trusted name in marine aftermarket parts

This gasket seals the hydraulic connector located on the bottom of the transom where power trim hoses connect to the stern drive unit. Regular replacement during service helps maintain proper hydraulic pressure and prevents costly trim system failures. Also cross-references to GLM part number 32500.
