Product Details

The Sierra 18-0644 Reed Plate Gasket is a precision-fit replacement gasket designed for Mercury and Mariner outboard engines. Engineered to meet or exceed original equipment specifications, this reed plate gasket ensures a reliable seal at the reed valve assembly — a critical component in two-stroke outboard engine induction systems that controls airflow and fuel mixture into the crankcase.

Sierra International is a trusted name in marine engine replacement parts, and this gasket is manufactured to provide a direct, drop-in replacement for the OEM part it supersedes, eliminating the need for modification or trimming during installation.

Key Features:

  • Direct OEM replacement reed plate gasket for Mercury/Mariner outboard engines
  • Meets or exceeds original equipment manufacturer standards
  • Ensures proper sealing at the reed valve plate assembly
  • Also sold as a component within larger Sierra powerhead gasket sets

Cross-Reference Part Numbers:

  • Mercury Marine: 27-14697-2 / 27-146972
  • Mallory Marine: 9-60055
  • GLM: 37530
  • Sierra: 18-0644

This gasket is also included as part of larger Sierra powerhead gasket sets, making it a reliable standalone replacement for routine maintenance or engine rebuilds.

Very detailed list of part fitment. Radiator fits and functions very well. BUT, and this may be no fault of Autoplicity, I received the radiator w/holes punched in the box and some of the cooling fins bent. It wasn't bad enough to warrant a return, thoug

Had to call customer service because I couldn't get paypal to work. He was very helpful and friendly.

So far, so good.

The price was really good compared to other places I looked. They shipped my order the next day which was really nice as I needed the product ASAP. Thanks Autoplicity

Product (Dee-Zee nerf bars) was exactly as advertised. Buying experience was great. I did contact customer service via email to find out the shipping information. They were very helpful and replied within a few hours.

Very quick service and prompt shipping.

The shipping was fast, although I couldn't get it the first day because they require signature for delivery. I guess it's an added safety measure. Thank you! Will shop buy from again!
