The Sierra 18-2231 is a precision-machined 0.005-inch gearcase pinion shim designed for OMC Stringer and Cobra stern drive units. Used during gearcase assembly and rebuild procedures, this shim allows technicians to achieve the correct pinion bearing preload and gear mesh tolerances for smooth, reliable drivetrain operation.

Ordered a set of 5 steel wheels, distributor messed up and only sent me 4. 5th wheel is taking a good couple weeks to arrive due to the distributor messing up the shipment. Autoplicity did make things right and I can honestly say now I would recommend them.
