The Sierra 18-2462 is a front trim cylinder anchor pin kit designed as a direct OEM replacement for Mercruiser R, MR, and Alpha One stern drives from 1983 to 1990. This kit services the front anchor pin location — the pin positioned closest to the boat transom — and restores proper trim cylinder mounting and pivot function.

Sierra manufactures this kit to meet or exceed OEM specifications, providing a reliable and cost-effective alternative to the original Mercury Marine part. It directly replaces Mercury Marine OEM part number 17-14873A1 and Mallory 9-77102.
