Product Details

The Sierra 18-2724 is a marine transom seal designed specifically for MerCruiser stern drive applications. This seal creates a watertight barrier between the transom assembly and the stern drive unit, preventing water intrusion into the boat while allowing the drive shaft to pass through.

Key Features:

  • Direct replacement for MerCruiser OEM part number 43713
  • Engineered to withstand harsh marine environments including saltwater exposure
  • Prevents water from entering the bilge through the transom assembly
  • Precision-molded design ensures proper fit and seal integrity
  • Essential component for stern drive maintenance and rebuilds

This transom seal is a critical wear item that should be replaced during stern drive service or when any signs of deterioration or leaking are observed. Sierra Marine parts are manufactured to meet or exceed OEM specifications, providing reliable performance for recreational and commercial marine applications.
