Product Details

The Sierra 18-3286 is a complete water pump impeller repair kit engineered for OMC Electric Shift and Stringer stern drives from 1964 to 1986 (excluding Cobra models). This all-in-one kit eliminates the time and hassle of sourcing individual components — everything needed to restore proper raw water pump function is included.

Sierra's impellers are molded to strict quality standards and constructed from a neoprene rubber compound for flexibility and long-lasting performance in demanding marine environments. Every component in the kit meets or exceeds original OMC equipment specifications.

Kit Contents:

  • (1) 18-3086 Impeller — replaces OEM# 379475
  • (1) 18-3111 Water Pump Shaft Seal (Rubber Seal) — replaces OEM# 907774
  • (1) 18-3141 Impeller Plate — replaces OEM# 313176
  • (1) 18-7135 O-Ring — replaces OEM# 310584
  • (1) 18-7129 O-Ring — replaces OEM# 314491
  • (1) 18-7158 O-Ring — replaces OEM# 310585, 310967

Cross-Reference / Interchangeable With:

  • Mallory 9-45284
  • OEM# 984461
  • GLM 12190

Regular impeller replacement is essential to preventing engine overheating caused by reduced raw water flow. Sand, debris, and clogged intakes can degrade impeller performance over time — annual inspection and replacement is strongly recommended. Sierra International is one of the most trusted names in marine engine parts, with a full manufacturer's warranty backing every product.

Note: This kit is designed for OMC Stringer and Electric Shift stern drives from 1964–1986. It is not compatible with OMC Cobra models.
