Product Details

The Sierra International 18-4038 is a marine crankshaft rod needle bearing set designed for the crank end position on Mercury and Mariner outboard engines. This set contains the needle rollers only — the existing bearing cage must be retained and reused during installation. The set includes 16 needle rollers and is engineered as a direct stock replacement for worn or damaged crankshaft bearings.

Sierra's needle bearings are precision-machined to meet or exceed original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications, ensuring reliable performance and a proper fit. This part is an ideal solution for engine rebuilds or crankshaft servicing where only the needle rollers need replacement.

Key Features:

  • Crank end needle bearing set — needles only (no cage included)
  • Contains 16 precision needle rollers
  • Meets or exceeds OEM quality standards
  • Direct replacement for Mercury Marine and compatible applications
  • Sold as a set

Replaces OEM Part Numbers:

  • Mercury Marine: 31-62596A1, 31-47245A1, 31-55332A1, 31-58859A1, 31-61424A2, 31-63075A1, 31-17514A2
  • GLM: 16210

A happy customer comes back again

Web interface seems a little clunky-----a lot of seemingly unnecessary scrolling.

Price is awesome

I thought there was a 5% off by signing up at the beginning. It went away and I didn't get it. I may be wrong.

Quick

5 STAR MERCHANT! Recommend to everybody. Extremely quick, relieable, honest, and accurate. Item was delivered 2 days sooner than they told me in perfect condition. Additionally, they were the least expensive for the item. I do not know how they do it but they did it.
