Product Details

The Sierra 18-6015-9 is a zinc sacrificial anode designed to protect MerCruiser sterndrive components from galvanic corrosion. Sold as a pack of 2 anodes, this is a direct replacement for Mercury Marine OEM parts. Zinc anodes are formulated specifically for saltwater use, where they attract corrosive electrochemical activity away from shafts, propellers, rudders, and drive components — allowing the anode to corrode instead of your valuable drive parts.

Sierra International manufactures this anode to meet OEM specifications, making it a reliable and cost-effective alternative to the original Mercury Marine part.

Key Features:

  • Pack of 2 zinc sacrificial anodes
  • Zinc alloy construction — designed for saltwater use
  • Protects MerCruiser sterndrive components from galvanic corrosion
  • Manufactured to OEM specifications
  • Direct OEM replacement — no modifications required

OEM Cross-Reference Numbers:

  • Mercury Marine: 55989A3, 55989Q9, 55989T9
  • Also replaces: 47-6015-9, 47-60159, 47-6015, GLM12700, 18-6015
  • UPC: 808282189488

Note: Zinc anodes are intended for saltwater environments only. For brackish water, choose an aluminum alloy anode. For freshwater use, select a magnesium alloy anode.

Quick service. keeps you up to date

So far so good

I hope this time there will be no problem or cancellation of my order from your end, as I confirmed the stock from your sale department personnel (Hector) before I proceed on checking out.

Ordering went smooth!

Great price. Easy to use site and placing orders are a breeze! Overall very pleased.

Very easy and quick

easy checkout

Fast shipping and saved $60 on a $399 item. However you have to verify your part #'s with the vendor. The part discription on autoplicity sometimes is not what you get. I ordered an item that said it was an O2 plug and bung but when it showed up it was just the bung plug sold separate and customer service basically said it was my bad for not checking for a more accurate discription on the Allstar web site.
