The Sierra 18-6017 is a zinc sacrificial threaded anode designed to protect Johnson and Evinrude outboard motors from galvanic corrosion. Used on the gearcase and transom bracket assembly, this anode corrodes preferentially in place of vital metal components, extending the life of your outboard in saltwater and brackish water environments.

Manufactured to meet or exceed OEM specifications, the Sierra 18-6017 is a direct replacement for Johnson/Evinrude OEM part numbers 123009 and 173029, as well as GLM part number 12730.
