Product Details

The Sierra 18-6099 is a magnesium driveshaft housing plate anode engineered to protect MerCruiser Alpha One Gen II stern drives from galvanic corrosion in freshwater environments. Magnesium anodes are the recommended sacrificial anode material for freshwater use, offering superior electrochemical activity to shield vulnerable underwater metals from corrosion damage.

This anode is a direct replacement for MerCruiser OEM part numbers 815933A1, 821629A1, and 97-821629Q1, making it a reliable aftermarket alternative that meets original equipment specifications. Regular inspection and timely replacement of sacrificial anodes is one of the most important steps in protecting your stern drive investment.

Key Features:

  • Magnesium construction — optimized for fresh water applications
  • Protects MerCruiser Alpha One Gen II stern drive components from galvanic corrosion
  • Direct OEM replacement for MerCruiser 815933A1, 821629A1, and 97-821629Q1
  • Covers Alpha One Gen II applications from 1991 and up
  • Easy to inspect and replace as part of routine maintenance
  • UPC: 808282103439

Sierra International is a trusted name in aftermarket marine parts, producing components designed to meet or exceed OEM standards. Keep your MerCruiser stern drive protected with the Sierra 18-6099 magnesium sacrificial anode.

Great place. Wish some idems had more detailed descriptions.

I'M PRESUMING THAT THIS IS A BRAND NEW BATTERY AND NOT A REBUILT. SHOULD IT BE A REBUILD, PLEASE CANCEL MY ORDER. THANX, FRANK

Easy shopping, however the confirmation from the warehouse and then the shipment to my home, took a week. For an overall product purchase it's fine, but if you have your car broken and you are waiting for the part, the waiting time is terrible.

Great Thanks

Had the best pricing for the item I wanted and customer service was excellent. Called about shipping and were responsive and quick to get me the details. Will buy from them again.

Good prices and fast checkout.

Everything went smoothly and my order arrived in a reasonable amount of time.

SO far, so good. We ordered a new Weathertech Trunk Liner from Autoplicity for our new VW SportWagen. We were pleased to find exactly what we were looking for for $50 less than other locations.

Good so far. Will see on shipping and part. Thanks

Has the cheapest prices around. Very easy to checkout and quick shipping. Everything a customer could ask for.
