Sierra 18-6242-9 Marine Zinc Anode - Pack of 2

The Sierra 18-6242-9 is a marine-grade sacrificial zinc anode designed to protect your outboard motor, sterndrive, or marine hardware from galvanic corrosion. Sold as a package of two anodes, this is a direct-fit replacement that meets or exceeds OEM specifications.

Sacrificial anodes work by corroding in place of more valuable metal components — such as lower unit housings, trim tabs, and drive shafts — when submerged in fresh, salt, or brackish water. Replacing worn anodes at regular service intervals is one of the most cost-effective ways to extend the life of your marine equipment.

Key Features:

• High-purity zinc construction for reliable galvanic corrosion protection
• Sold as a package of 2 anodes
• Direct OEM replacement fit for compatible Sierra and marine applications
• Suitable for use in salt water, fresh water, and brackish water environments
• Meets or exceeds original equipment manufacturer specifications
• Easy drop-in installation — no modifications required

Sierra is a trusted name in marine replacement parts, offering a comprehensive line of anodes engineered to the same standards as the original hardware. Regular inspection and timely replacement of sacrificial anodes ensures continuous protection of your vessel's underwater metals.
