The Sierra 18-7843 is a replacement fuel pump diaphragm engineered for Yamaha 2-stroke outboard engines. This diaphragm is a direct aftermarket replacement for Yamaha OEM part numbers 6E5-24411-00-00, 6E5-24411-01-00, and 6E5-24411-10-00, and is used in conjunction with the Sierra 18-7788 Fuel Pump Kit and the Sierra 18-7349 Fuel Pump.

The fuel pump diaphragm is a critical component of the mechanical fuel lift pump system. As the diaphragm flexes, it creates the pressure differential needed to draw fuel from the tank and deliver it consistently to the engine. A worn or cracked diaphragm can result in reduced fuel pressure and poor engine performance, making timely replacement essential for reliable operation.
