Sierra 18-7951 10-Micron Fuel Water Separator Kit with Metal Drain Bowl - 1/4" Aluminum

The Sierra 18-7951 is a 10-micron marine fuel water separator kit designed for below-deck installations where USCG flame-resistance requirements apply. Featuring an aluminum bracket head and a flame-resistant metal drain bowl, this kit allows accumulated water to be easily drained from the filter element to extend service life and protect your engine from water-contaminated fuel.

Key Features:

• 10-Micron Filtration: Over 90% efficient at capturing particles as small as 10 microns, helping prevent damage to sensitive fuel injection systems
• Metal Drain Bowl (18-7924): Flame-resistant metal collection bowl meets USCG regulations required for below-deck installations
• Drainable Design: Water-in-fuel can be drained from the filter without removing the assembly, extending filter service life
• 1/4" Port Connections: Aluminum bracket head (18-7853-1) with 1/4" NPT inlet/outlet ports
• Spin-On Filter Element: Includes Sierra 18-7919 10-micron filter element for straightforward servicing
• Designed for 2 & 4-Cycle Gasoline Engines: Suitable for outboard and inboard marine gasoline applications

Kit Contents:

• 1 x 18-7919 10-Micron Fuel Water Separator Filter
• 1 x 18-7853-1 Aluminum Mounting Bracket
• 1 x 18-7924 Flame-Resistant Metal Drain Bowl
• 2 x 18-4256 1/4" Pipe Plugs

Important Installation Note: USCG regulations require the use of a flame-resistant metal collection bowl for all below-deck fuel system installations. For outboard or above-deck use, the Sierra AquaVue™ clear bowl kit (18-7932-1) is an alternative option offering visual water-level inspection.
