Product Details

The Sierra 18-8357 Complete Gearcase Seal Kit is a comprehensive marine sealing solution designed for Volvo Penta stern drive applications. This complete kit covers both the upper and lower gearcase, providing a full seal replacement in a single purchase.

Key Features:

  • Complete upper and lower coverage — seals both sections of the gearcase in one kit
  • OEM-equivalent quality — meets or exceeds original equipment specifications
  • Replaces Volvo Penta OEM part numbers 875741 and 876266
  • Cross-references Mallory 9-77900 for added sourcing flexibility
  • Engineered for precise fit between mating surfaces and flanges for leak-free performance
  • Replacement is recommended any time the gearcase is disassembled and reassembled

The Sierra 18-8357 is a trusted aftermarket replacement from Sierra International, a leading supplier of marine engine and drive components. Proper gearcase sealing is critical to protecting internal gear oil from water intrusion and preventing costly lower unit damage.

This was a site I was unfamiliar with at first. However after doing a little price comparison amongst the big names, this site had beaten Amazon, eBay, and online auto parts chains in terms of price. Made sure it was the same brand part I was looking for, went ahead and ordered, and had it in the next two days. Was pleasantly surprised, thanks!

Easy. Best price anywhere.
