Product Details

The Sierra 18-8865 is a low pressure electric fuel pump designed as a direct replacement for MerCruiser Gen III Cool Fuel systems. Engineered to meet or exceed OEM specifications, this pump replaces Mercury MerCruiser OEM part number 866170A01 and restores proper fuel delivery to your marine engine.

This pump installs down inside the Gen III Cool Fuel module and serves as the low pressure lift pump within the system, matching the required operating pressure and GPH fuel flow of the original equipment.

Kit Includes:

  • Low pressure electric fuel pump
  • Isolator
  • Seals

Key Features:

  • Direct OEM replacement — replaces MerCruiser 866170A01
  • Designed for GM V-8 (305, 350, 377, 496 & 502 CID) marine engines
  • Compatible with MerCruiser Gen III Cool Fuel Module systems (1994 and up)
  • Low pressure lift pump — matches OEM pressure and flow specifications
  • Installs inside the fuel module for a clean, factory-style fitment
  • Manufactured by Sierra, a trusted supplier of marine OEM and aftermarket parts

When replacing this pump, it is recommended to also replace the fuel filter element (Sierra PN 18-7977) located inside the fuel module for optimal performance and longevity.
