Product Details

The Sierra GSS62790 Nautalift Gas Lift Supports are engineered specifically for demanding marine environments where corrosion resistance is critical. These gas-filled struts provide reliable, smooth lifting assistance for hatches, engine covers, seats, and storage compartments on boats and watercraft.

Marine-Grade Construction:

  • 316L stainless steel rod and cylinder body for maximum corrosion resistance in saltwater applications
  • Engineered polymer rod ends resist UV degradation and provide quiet operation
  • Bronze bushings ensure smooth, long-lasting articulation
  • Multi-lobe internal seal design prevents gas leakage and maintains consistent lift force
  • Gas-filled damping provides controlled, predictable motion

Sierra's Nautalift series is purpose-built for the harsh saltwater environment, using premium materials that outlast standard automotive-grade gas struts. The 316L stainless steel construction provides superior protection against pitting and corrosion, while the advanced sealing system maintains performance even after extended exposure to salt spray and marine conditions.
