Product Details

The Tie Down Engineering 26413 is a commercial-grade galvanized steel backup plate designed to reinforce dock T-connector hardware. Measuring 5 inches by 5 inches, this backing plate distributes load and adds structural integrity wherever single T male and female connectors are installed.

Key Features:

  • 5" x 5" square plate provides broad surface coverage for maximum reinforcement
  • Designed to back up single T male and female connectors, outside pipe holders, and chain retainers
  • Commercial-grade construction built for demanding residential and commercial dock applications
  • Galvanized steel construction resists corrosion in harsh marine and freshwater environments
  • Features .562" square holes with a 3.5" hole spacing pattern
  • Straightforward installation — attaches directly to T-connector hardware to strengthen the docking system

The Tie Down Engineering 26413 backup plate is an essential component when building or repairing modular dock systems. It distributes stress across the mounting surface, helping prevent pull-through and extending the service life of your dock hardware.
