Product Details

The Tie Down Engineering 86068 is a heavy-duty spare tire carrier engineered to mount both a spare hub/torsion spindle and a spare tire in a single, convenient unit. Designed exclusively for use with Eliminator Torsion Axles, this carrier delivers a perfect fit and reliable performance for boat trailers and utility trailers alike.

Constructed from heavy-duty steel with a hot-dip galvanized finish, the 86068 is built to resist rust and corrosion — an essential quality for marine trailering environments. The carrier fits all trailer frames up to 5 inches high, making it a versatile solution across a wide range of trailer configurations.

Key Features:

  • Mounts both spare hub/torsion spindle and spare tire in one unit
  • Includes a 5-stud, pre-greased hub for smooth, ready-to-use operation
  • 1,750 lb. rated hub compatible with 1-1/16" and 1-3/8" bearings
  • Heavy-duty steel construction with hot-dip galvanized corrosion-resistant finish
  • Designed specifically for use with Eliminator Torsion Axles
  • Fits all trailer frames up to 5" high
  • Made in the USA

The Tie Down Engineering 86068 spare tire carrier ensures you're always prepared on the road or at the boat ramp with a complete spare hub and tire solution ready to go.

You had what I needed so I ordered it

Very pleased with my order! Would buy from them again! Thank you!

Was a great experience and quick shipping

Thanks

Great price, quick shipping.

The unit looks great and shipment was on point. Thanks!

I ordered tires for my boat trailer. They arrived three days later and were the correct tire and size. They were also the cheapest price I could on-line. I was extremely pleased with my first purchase on boatplicity.com. Thanks!

The online purchasing system is very efficient. I had an issue with the delivery times, and the company quickly corrected the situation to my satisfaction.

Thank you. You are cheaper than West Marine Pro, (although I have to pay shipping,) and faster than Amazon. My poor planning of immediate boat projects, and your products and ease of ordering and two day delivery work well.
