Tie Down Engineering 86099 Zinc-Plated Side Mount Spare Tire Carrier

The Tie Down Engineering 86099 is a zinc-plated side mount spare tire carrier designed for boat, utility, and other trailers. Built from extra heavy-duty welded steel, this carrier securely holds your spare tire on the side of the trailer tongue, keeping it accessible and protected on every trip.

The adjustable bolt circle accommodates both 4 and 5-lug wheels up to 15 inches, providing broad compatibility across a wide range of trailer tires. The carrier fits all trailer tongues up to 3 inches wide by 4 inches high, making it a universal fit for most standard trailer frames.

The zinc-plated finish provides an added layer of corrosion resistance, helping protect the carrier against the elements over the long term. This patented design (US Patent #6,116,483) reflects Tie Down Engineering's commitment to practical innovation in trailer hardware.
