Tie Down Engineering 86406 Black PVC Spool Type Keel Roller 4in x 5/8in Shaft

The Tie Down Engineering 86406 is a 4-inch spool type keel roller built for boat trailer use. Part of Tie Down's Hull Sav'r PVC product line, this black poly vinyl roller is engineered to protect your boat's hull during loading, unloading, and transport.

The primary function of a keel roller is to center and guide the boat's keel onto the trailer, preventing side-to-side shifting and ensuring proper alignment at the ramp. The spool-style design fits standard roller brackets and is a direct replacement for worn, warped, or damaged rollers.

Key Features:

• Hull-safe construction — non-marking, non-marring black poly vinyl material will not scratch or scuff your boat's finish
• Cut and fade resistant — Tie Down's enhanced PVC formula outperforms traditional polyurethane rollers
• Shock absorbing — cushions hull impact during loading and trailering over rough roads
• Corrosion resistant — suitable for both freshwater and saltwater environments
• Spool type design — versatile fit for a wide range of trailer roller brackets
• 4-inch roller length with 5/8-inch center shaft hole

Using multiple keel rollers positioned along the trailer's cross members helps distribute the hull load evenly, reducing stress on any single contact point. The Tie Down Engineering 86406 is a reliable, cost-effective replacement roller for any boat trailer.
