Tie Down Engineering 86481 5-Inch Spool-Type Black Rubber Keel Roller 1/2-Inch Shaft

The Tie Down Engineering 86481 is a 5-inch spool-type rubber keel roller designed for use on boat trailers. Featuring a 1/2-inch shaft hole and a classic spool profile, it serves as a direct replacement for worn, warped, or distorted keel rollers on virtually any trailerable boat.

The primary function of a keel roller is to center and guide the keel of your boat onto the trailer during loading and unloading. By providing a smooth, controlled rolling surface, it prevents the boat from shifting side to side and ensures proper alignment — simplifying both the launch and retrieval process.

Key Features:

• Spool-type design — classic profile suitable for most standard trailer configurations
• 5-inch length with a 1/2-inch shaft hole for a precise fit
• Black rubber construction — abrasion-resistant and built to resist salt corrosion in both freshwater and saltwater environments
• Non-marring surface — will not scratch or damage your boat's hull or keel
• Shock-absorbing material — helps cushion the hull from road vibration during trailering
• Works great when used in multiples along the trailer frame for better load distribution and support

The Tie Down Engineering 86481 is a reliable, long-lasting replacement keel roller that keeps your boat properly aligned and protected every time it hits the water.
