• High-Tensile Fabricated Flukes: Flukes are fabricated for additional strength and then beveled to allow quick, deep bottom penetration into soft or loose seabeds
• 4130 High-Grade Steel Shank: The shank is constructed from heat-treated 4130 chromoly steel for exceptional strength and toughness in demanding marine environments
• Hot-Dip Galvanized Finish: Corrosion-resistant hot-dip galvanized coating extends the anchor's lifespan and protects against saltwater and the elements
• 1,800 lb. Holding Power: Exceptional holding power-to-weight ratio for reliable anchoring security
• Lightweight & Easy to Handle: At only 12 lbs., this anchor is easy to deploy, retrieve, and store aboard
• Made in the USA: Manufactured by Tie Down Engineering to original Danforth specifications

The Hi-Tensile anchor performs best in sand and sand/mud bottoms, where its beveled fluke design can quickly dig in and set firmly. The precise shank-to-fluke angle is built to original Danforth dimensions for proven, reliable performance.
