The Tie Down Engineering 95131 is a 3/16-inch galvanized anchor lead chain designed to connect between your anchor line and anchor for safe, reliable anchoring. This short length of chain plays a critical role in proper anchoring technique by helping keep the anchor shank low to the bottom, allowing the flukes to dig in deeper and set more effectively.

The added weight of the chain also reduces the angle of pull on the anchor, improving holding power in varying conditions. Additionally, the chain section protects your anchor line from abrasion and chafe caused by contact with rocky or rough bottom surfaces.
