Tie Down Engineering 95133 Galvanized Anchor Lead Chain 5/16 in. x 6 ft. with Expanded Link

The Tie Down Engineering 95133 is a 5/16 in. x 6 ft. galvanized anchor lead chain designed to connect between your anchor line and anchor for a safer, more effective hold. By positioning the chain between the rope and the anchor, it keeps the anchor shank riding low along the bottom, allowing the flukes to dig in deeper and set more reliably in a variety of bottom conditions.

The added weight of the chain also provides a natural catenary curve in the rode, which acts as a shock absorber during wave action and wind gusts — reducing sudden jerks on the anchor. As a heavy-duty chain rather than rope at the anchor end, it also protects against line chafe from rocks, shells, and rough bottom surfaces that would otherwise wear through a nylon anchor line.

Key Features:

• Size: 5/16 in. x 6 ft.
• Breaking strength: 1,900 lbs.
• Hot-dip galvanized finish for corrosion resistance and long-term durability in saltwater and freshwater environments
• Includes expanded link shackle for easy attachment
• Keeps anchor shank low for improved fluke penetration and better holding power
• Guards against rope chafe at the anchor connection point
• UPC: 081628951332

A proper anchor lead chain is an essential component of any well-rigged anchoring system. The Tie Down Engineering 95133 is a reliable, purpose-built solution trusted by boaters for everyday anchoring needs.
