West Systems 5018 White Epoxy Pigment - 501 Series Liquid Colorant 4 oz

West System 501 White Epoxy Pigment is a liquid colorant designed to tint mixed epoxy resin and hardener systems, providing an even color base for subsequent finish coats. This epoxy-based pigment integrates smoothly into mixed epoxy to create a consistent white coloration throughout the cured laminate.

Key Features:

• Liquid epoxy pigment formulation for easy mixing and uniform color distribution
• Simple mixing ratio: approximately one teaspoon of pigment per 8 fl. oz. of mixed epoxy
• Each 4 fl. oz. bottle tints approximately 1.5 gallons of epoxy mixture
• White pigmentation creates an excellent base for topcoat finish systems
• Colored surfaces help reveal surface imperfections and flaws during preparation
• Compatible with West System epoxy resin and hardener combinations

Application Notes:

Add the pigment to the mixed resin and hardener combination and stir thoroughly to ensure complete color integration. The resulting pigmented epoxy should be used as an intermediate coating rather than a final exterior finish, as the pigment will degrade when exposed to direct sunlight and UV radiation. For best results, apply a UV-resistant topcoat over pigmented epoxy surfaces intended for outdoor use.
