The West Systems 72710 is a high-performance biaxial fiberglass tape designed for structural reinforcement, repairs, and composite lamination projects. This 4-inch wide by 10-foot long roll features 15 oz. non-woven E-glass fabric construction that delivers superior strength and finish quality.

Key Features:

  • Dual-layer biaxial construction with fibers oriented at ±45 degrees for optimal strength distribution
  • Non-crimped, flat fiber architecture reduces print-through and provides higher stiffness compared to traditional woven fabrics
  • Lightweight stitching holds layers together while allowing excellent resin wet-out
  • 15 oz. per square yard fabric weight provides substantial reinforcement without excessive bulk
  • E-glass composition offers excellent tensile strength and compatibility with epoxy resin systems

This biaxial tape is ideal for tabbing, joint reinforcement, structural repairs, and anywhere directional strength is needed. The ±45-degree fiber orientation makes it particularly effective for torsional loads and shear reinforcement. Compatible with West System epoxy resins and other quality marine-grade epoxy systems.
