Product Details

The West System 875 Scarffer is a precision tool designed to cut accurate scarf joints in plywood up to 3/8" thick. This innovative attachment transforms your circular saw into a specialized scarfing tool, enabling clean, professional-grade tapered joints essential for strong plywood edge-joining in boat building and woodworking applications.

Key Features:

  • Cuts precise scarf joints at the optimal 12:1 taper ratio for maximum joint strength
  • Compatible with most standard circular saws via easy-attachment system
  • Works with plywood up to 3/8" (9.5mm) thickness
  • Quick-release design allows simple installation and removal
  • Durable construction for consistent, repeatable cuts
  • Essential for creating virtually invisible, structurally sound plywood joints

Scarf joints are critical in marine construction and fine woodworking where strong, flush plywood edge joints are required. The Scarffer eliminates the guesswork and inconsistency of hand-cutting tapered joints, ensuring proper glue surface area for maximum bond strength when used with West System epoxy adhesives.
