Western Pacific Trading 20001 Exhaust Wrap Tape 2" x 100' Fiberglass Heat Shield

The Western Pacific Trading 20001 is a high-temperature fiberglass exhaust wrap tape designed to control extreme heat on marine and automotive exhaust systems. This heavy-duty wrap features a woven fiberglass construction with bound edges that prevent fraying and provide long-lasting durability in demanding applications.

Key Features:

• 2 inches wide by 100 feet long - sufficient for most manifold and muffler wrapping projects
• 1/8 inch thick fiberglass construction for excellent thermal insulation
• Temperature rating of 750°F continuous exposure
• Woven design with bound edges for edge stability and resistance to unraveling
• Reduces radiated heat from exhaust components by up to 50%
• Helps lower engine compartment temperatures for improved performance

Applications:

• Marine exhaust manifolds and mufflers
• Dry stack exhaust systems
• Pre-water injection exhaust ports
• Automotive headers and downpipes
• Motorcycle exhaust systems

This non-foil backed exhaust wrap effectively contains exhaust heat within the system, helping to increase exhaust gas velocity and reduce heat transfer to surrounding components. The fiberglass material provides excellent chemical and solvent resistance, making it ideal for harsh marine environments. Installation is straightforward - wrap with approximately 50% overlap and secure with stainless steel ties or wire clamps.
