Bearing Buddy 42442 Stainless Steel Bearing Protector 2.441 Inch

The Bearing Buddy 42442 is a stainless steel bearing protector designed to extend bearing life and reduce maintenance on boat trailers, RV trailers, and utility trailers. This protective device automatically keeps bearings properly lubricated while preventing water intrusion and contamination.

Key Features:

• 2.441-inch diameter threaded design for secure installation
• Stainless steel construction resists corrosion in marine and harsh environments
• Spring-loaded piston maintains positive pressure to keep water and contaminants out
• Easy to install and repack with grease without removing wheel
• Visual indicator shows when grease level is adequate
• Prevents premature bearing failure from water damage and contamination

This bearing protector threads directly onto the spindle, creating a sealed system that continuously forces grease into the bearings. The spring-loaded design ensures constant outward pressure, blocking water entry during boat launching or when traveling through wet conditions. Simply add grease through the built-in zerk fitting until the piston extends slightly, indicating proper fill level.
