Product Details

The JR Products GSNI530030 is a heavy-duty gas spring designed to assist with opening and holding open doors, hatches, lids, and access platforms on RVs, campers, and marine applications. This gas-charged lift support provides smooth, controlled motion and reliable holding force.

Key Specifications:

  • Compressed length: 11.41 inches
  • Extended length: 20 inches
  • Lifting capacity: 30 pounds
  • Gas-type pressurized cylinder
  • Plastic socket end fittings for secure mounting
  • Stroke length: 8.59 inches (extended minus compressed)

This gas spring is ideal for replacement or upgrade applications where controlled opening assistance is needed. The 30-pound force rating provides moderate lifting support suitable for cabinet doors, storage compartments, engine hatches, and lightweight access panels. The plastic socket ends allow for easy installation with standard ball stud mounting hardware.

JR Products gas springs are manufactured to withstand the demanding conditions of mobile applications, including temperature variations, vibration, and repeated cycling. The sealed gas cylinder maintains consistent pressure over thousands of cycles for long-lasting performance.
