Product Details

The JR Products GSNI-4983-35 is a gas spring strut designed to assist with opening and holding open doors, hatches, or access platforms on RVs, trailers, and other recreational vehicles. This reliable gas-charged lift support provides smooth, controlled motion and eliminates the need for manual propping.

Key Specifications:

  • Compressed length: 8.66 inches
  • Extended length: 12.2 inches
  • Lifting capacity: 35 pounds
  • Gas-type operation for consistent performance
  • Plastic socket end fittings for secure mounting
  • Durable construction for long service life

This gas spring is ideal for replacing worn or failed OEM struts on storage compartments, entry doors, roof vents, and lift-up platforms. The 35-pound force rating provides moderate support for medium-weight applications. Installation requires matching the compressed and extended lengths to your existing hardware mounting points.
