Product Details

The JR Products GSNI515020 is a heavy-duty gas spring designed to assist with opening and holding open doors, hatches, lids, and access platforms on RVs, campers, trailers, and marine applications. This gas-charged lift support provides smooth, controlled motion and reliable support for a variety of applications.

Key Specifications:

  • Compressed length: 8.91 inches
  • Extended length: 15 inches
  • Lifting capacity: 20 pounds
  • Gas-type spring for consistent performance
  • Plastic socket end fittings for easy installation
  • Stroke length: 6.09 inches (extension travel)

Gas springs like this unit are ideal replacements for worn or failed lift supports on storage compartments, entry doors, baggage doors, and other hinged access points. The plastic socket ends allow for simple mounting to ball studs or mounting hardware. This component helps reduce strain when opening heavy doors and prevents them from slamming shut, extending the life of hinges and latches.

Wow, what a good company to deal with! I ordered my Brake Motive 0100 pressure brake bleeder and 2 days later it was here! I can't wait to test it out. The only thing they could improve on is having the ability to search for parts based on year, make and model of the vehicle. The website requires that I find component part numbers elsewhere and input them in, a pretty cumbersome and difficult process. Thanks again!

I ordered a new clutch on June 12, and the item shipped the same day. Had the item on time as expected. They also beat all other retailers prices by a significant amount. Their shipping costs were also reasonable. The only issue I experienced is that it is virtually impossible to get order status from their Website if you do not have an account. Anytime I used the link provided in the order confirmation E-Mail would always return an error.

Best price on the web. Fast shipping. Good selection. Had everything I needed. I will shop here for my next order!

I received the item yesterday, and it was securely shipped and received. Item worked flawlessly! Thanks again.
