Product Details

The Vetus SET0149 is a replacement zinc anode designed specifically for 35, 40, 45, and 55 kgf bow thrusters. This sacrificial anode provides critical corrosion protection for your bow thruster motor assembly by attracting galvanic current that would otherwise deteriorate vital metal components.

Key Features:

  • 2-inch diameter zinc anode construction
  • Supplied with two stainless steel allen head countersunk set screws for secure installation
  • Replaces old part numbers BP-1126 and BP-1001
  • US Military Grade zinc material for reliable corrosion protection
  • Compatible with multiple Vetus bow thruster models including BOW 35, 40, 45, and 55

Installation Notes:

The propeller must be removed to replace the anode. Model 35 uses either a 125mm or 150mm diameter tunnel, Model 40 uses a 140mm tunnel, Model 45 uses a 125mm tunnel, and Model 55 uses a 150mm tunnel. Regular anode inspection and replacement is essential for maintaining bow thruster longevity and preventing costly corrosion damage.
