The Ronstan RF35312 is a high-performance 30mm triple block with becket, engineered for modern sailing rigging systems where strength-to-weight ratio is critical. This Orbit Block features three sheaves with thinner cheeks between them that reduce overall weight while effectively separating lines for tangle-free operation.

Advanced Two-Stage Bearing System:

The Orbit Block's innovative bearing design efficiently handles both static and dynamic loads throughout the entire load range. High compression grade acetal orbital ball bearings automatically migrate to loaded areas of the sheave for light to moderate loads, while a PTFE-impregnated nylon bearing with carbon fiber reinforcement shoulders larger static loads. This dual-stage system delivers smooth operation and exceptional efficiency even under significant load.

Lightweight Composite Construction:

Through extensive computer modeling, Ronstan replaced unnecessary metal components with engineered composites without compromising strength. The glass fiber reinforced nylon cheeks and head design achieve the highest working loads in their class. The hollow bearing at the center serves double-duty as a becket, further reducing weight while adding versatility. The block can be secured using the supplied loop or converted to a soft attachment using a Dyneema link (Ronstan RF9003-70, sold separately).
