The Faria Euro Black 4" Tachometer with Hourmeter is designed for gas inboard marine engines with a maximum reading of 6,000 RPM. This electronic tachometer features a sophisticated perimeter-lighted black dial with bold white graphics, creating excellent visibility in all lighting conditions. The instrument includes a black aluminum bezel, contoured white pointer, and a flat anti-scratch glass lens for durability in harsh marine environments.

Electronic Operation:

This tachometer works by counting pulses generated by your engine's ignition system, alternator, tach signal generator, or magnetic pickup sender. The unit connects to +12VDC power, ground, and your chosen signal source. An adjustable switch on the back allows you to calibrate the tachometer to match your engine's pulse output per revolution, ensuring accurate RPM readings.
