The Furuno NavPilot 711C is an advanced autopilot system designed for recreational and commercial vessels, featuring revolutionary self-learning and adaptive software that continuously optimizes steering performance. This complete system includes the NavPilot 711C control unit with a sunlight-viewable color day/night graphic display, FAP7002 processor unit, FAP6112 rudder reference unit, and PG700 NMEA 2000 heading sensor.
Self-Learning Adaptive Technology:
From initial installation through every voyage, the NavPilot 711C continuously learns your vessel's unique steering characteristics and dynamically adjusts essential parameters including vessel speed, trim, draught, tide and wind effects, dead band, and weather conditions. These parameters are stored in system memory and automatically optimized for superior course-keeping capability and real-time steering accuracy.
Key Features:
- Color day/night graphic display with excellent sunlight viewability
- Self-learning adaptive software algorithm for precise course keeping
- FishHunter mode performs square, zigzag, circle, orbit, spiral, or figure-eight maneuvers around targets
- Man Overboard (MOB) capability using FishHunter mode
- Plug and Play CAN bus interface for easy installation
- Compatible with NavNet 3D, FI-50 Instrument series, and other navigation equipment
- Optional SAFE HELM and POWER ASSIST modes available with FPS8 Power Steering Module (sold separately)
PG700 Integrated Heading Sensor:
The included PG700 is a rate-compensated heading sensor incorporating electromagnetic compass technology for highly accurate and stable heading readouts. It features an angular velocity sensor and magnetic bearing sensor in a rugged, compact, maintenance-free design with automatic installation site suitability determination. The L-shaped mounting base allows for flexible bulkhead mounting, and it outputs magnetic bearing data to Furuno CAN bus devices via NMEA 2000.
What's Included:
- NavPilot 711C control unit
- FAP7002 processor unit
- FAP6112 rudder reference unit
- PG700 heading sensor with NMEA 2000
