This 12 VDC pump delivers 1.6-1.7 cubic inches of oil per second, providing reliable and precise autopilot control for marine applications.

How It Works:

The PUMPHRP17-12 integrates into your vessel's hydraulic steering system, which consists of a hydraulic actuator and helm pumps. When the autopilot engages, this reversing pump controls hydraulic oil flow to the steering cylinder, moving it port or starboard as needed. The cylinder's linear movement translates to rotary motion through the tiller arm connection, turning the rudder to steer the vessel. The pump's output flow rate determines steering speed, while the gerotor gear design ensures smooth, reliable operation.

Compatibility:

This pump replaces the F/500-21 model and is specifically designed for vessels with hydraulic steering systems using ram sizes between 14 and 25 cubic inches. It interfaces seamlessly with Furuno NavPilot series autopilot systems.

Note: For systems with multiple helm pumps, a return/fill line must be installed to connect the cases of all helm pumps together.
