Teleflex SH5150P NFB Safe-T II Rotary Steering Helm Single Cable

The Teleflex SH5150P is a single-cable rotary steering helm suitable for most single-station boats with a single non-power-assisted outboard engine up to V-4 and minimal engine flutter or steering instability. This helm features the patented No FeedBack (NFB) technology that significantly reduces propeller torque felt at the steering wheel, providing a more comfortable and controlled steering experience.

Complete system meets or exceeds NMMA certification requirements and ABYC safety standards. The NFB mechanism uses an internal clutch that grips the steering shaft when not actively steering, reducing the tiresome effect of propeller torque without the cost of a full hydraulic system. This ultra-smooth 3-turn system takes the work out of steering most V-4 outboard powered boats.

Note: Helm unit only. Complete steering system requires bezel kit, steering cable (SSC62 series), and steering wheel, all sold separately. NFB steering helms should never be used with autopilots, power-assisted steering systems, or second helm stations.
