Fill-Rite Oil, Diesel & Fuel Transfer Pumps
Fill-Rite FR152 Piston Hand Pump - 20 GPM, 8' Hose with Telescoping Suction Pipe
Fill-Rite: The Standard in Oil, Diesel & Fuel Transfer Pumps
When professionals in agriculture, fleet management, construction, and industrial operations need to move fuel reliably, they reach for the iconic red pump. Fill-Rite has spent more than 60 years engineering oil, diesel, and fuel transfer pumps that are as dependable on day one as they are after years of hard use — and that reputation is no accident.
Tuthill acquired Ossian Engineering Company in 1961, which resulted in the introduction of the Fill-Rite branded fuel and meter product lines. For over 60 years, the company has designed and manufactured its reliable, high-performing pumps, meters, and accessories from its facility in Fort Wayne, Indiana. That long heritage of American manufacturing is baked into every unit.
Rotary Vane Technology: Built for the Long Haul
What separates Fill-Rite from the competition isn't just build quality — it's the engineering inside each pump. Fill-Rite's Rotary Vane Technology is engineered for the long haul, delivering the same day-one performance over the lifetime of the pump. As the pump vanes wear down over time, they self-correct and maintain the exact same clearances they had the first time you used the pump — maintaining high efficiency and producing less stress and premature wear on the motor, reinforcing a longer pump life.
A Model for Every Application
Fill-Rite's lineup of fuel transfer pumps spans a wide range of power sources, flow rates, and construction materials, making it straightforward to match the right pump to the job:
- 700 Series (AC): Built to last with cast-iron construction and rotary vane technology, the 700 Series transfers fuel at 20 GPM, making it a solid option for filling medium-sized equipment from aboveground storage tanks.
- 300 Series (AC): Featuring 115V/230V AC dual-voltage power input and cast-iron construction, the 300 Series transfers fuel at 35 GPM — ideal for filling heavy equipment from aboveground storage tanks — with a thermally protected motor that prevents overheating and contributes to a long lifespan.
- NX25-120 Series (Continuous Duty): These continuous-duty pumps are designed for nonstop operation, pumping 25% faster than standard fuel transfer pumps. The brushless variable-speed motor transfers fuel all day without overheating, and the pump consumes up to 45% less energy than standard pumps.
- RD8 Series (Portable DC): The RD8 Series balances rapid performance and lightweight portability in a robust cast-aluminum, corrosion-resistant housing. An adjustable design allows the user to position inlet and outlet flanges for any application, and the pump can be mounted directly to a tank, set on the ground, or hand-held during filling.
- Hand-Operated Pumps: Fill-Rite's piston hand-operated fuel transfer pump series is built with tough cast-iron construction and is ideal for low-volume commercial or recreational transfer where electricity or battery power isn't available.
Broad Fluid Compatibility
There is a wide variety of models to choose from for Fill-Rite's flagship AC and DC fuel transfer pump lines, including pumps compatible with biodiesel fuels B20 to B100. Fill-Rite also offers pumps and products for diesel exhaust fluid (DEF). Whether you're handling gasoline, diesel, kerosene, or alternative fuels, there's a Fill-Rite pump engineered specifically for the task.
Trusted Across Industries
As a leader in the segment, Tuthill and its Fill-Rite brand serve many important industries, including transportation, agriculture, energy and power, municipalities, and more. Fill-Rite pumps are easy to install and can be mounted on a range of fuel tanks — from truck-bed mounted skid tanks to large, stationary bulk setups. That flexibility, combined with U.S.-made craftsmanship with global materials , is why generations of operators continue to trust the red pump when reliable fuel transfer is non-negotiable.
