Product Details

The Buck Algonquin 00PB125 is a complete packing box assembly designed for 1-1/4" propeller shafts on marine vessels. A packing box, or stuffing box, is a device that seals around the propeller shaft where it exits the vessel via the shaft log, preventing seawater from entering the boat. The flexible hose connection between the packing box and the vessel's shaft log provides enough movement to allow for small shaft alignment discrepancies.

Complete Assembly Includes:

  • Finely machined cast bronze body
  • Bronze hex spud
  • Bronze hex locking nut
  • Extra heavy multi-ply marine exhaust hose
  • All-stainless steel worm gear hose clamps

Easy shopping, however the confirmation from the warehouse and then the shipment to my home, took a week. For an overall product purchase it's fine, but if you have your car broken and you are waiting for the part, the waiting time is terrible.
